The final phase of preparation is underway
Preparations for WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai, where Tjalfe will represent Denmark in the tiling trade, are now well underway. The work has entered its final phase, and the goal is clear: Tjalfe must be as well-prepared as possible when the competition begins in China.
Focus on time and quality
Last week, Tjalfe worked on the WorldSkills competition task from Lyon 2024. Special attention was paid to the importance of time and quality during performance - both highly essential elements in the competition. Progress in both areas has been strong, and the overall assessment is that Tjalfe is in a very good position as he enters the final stage of his preparations.
The final important steps before departure
The preparations continue with several important activities in the coming days. This weekend, Tjalfe attended a national team training camp in Middelfart, followed by just one final training week in week 37 before the team departs for China.
This underlines just how close WorldSkills now is and how much attention is being given to the final details at this stage. The training is not only about maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship, but also about being ready to perform under immense pressure during the competition.
Many hours of training lie behind the progress
Behind Tjalfe’s preparations are many hours of dedicated training, concentration and a strong determination to keep improving. The progress he has made throughout his journey is promising and reflects a competitor who is approaching the challenge with determination and focus.
Tjalfe is therefore well-prepared to represent Denmark on the international stage, where craftsmanship, precision and the ability to stay calm under pressure will all be decisive.
