How to use

Emballagen åbnes min. 24 timer før brug.

Roll Acoustic Acoustic U36 out on the substrate and cut to the exact size of the room. Install the impact noise insulation mat with the corrugated side facing the substrate.

Around pipes, installations and wall/floor connections, we recommend installing strips of the impact noise reducing underlay in order to avoid acoustic bridges. These strips can be glued in plac using Alfix Montagelim (mounting adhesive), which is available in tubes. Seal all joins with a suitable, strongly adhesive tape.

Start by placing Alfix Acoustic U36 directly against the previously installed edge barrier. Continue to cover the entire floor and make sure that the joins are pressed tightly together.

On completion, Alfix Acoustic U36 must cover the entire floor area - without any gaps - and all joins must have been secured with tape.

A PE liner with a minimun thickness of 0,2 mm that covers the entire floor area must be installed before the concreting layer is piured. When installed, the film must cover the entire area without any gaps. Never affix Alfix Acoustic U36 and/or the PE film barrier mechanically using screws, nails or staples because this will significantly reduce the acoustic performance. Seal all joins with a suitable, strongly adhesive tape.

Temperature > -5°C and room humidity < 75%

Preparation
The substrate must be clean and even. There must not be any sharp or pointed objects that could perforate the impact noise insulation mat. The humidity level in the substrate must be no higher than 2,5% by weight, measured on concrete floors.
