Surface preparation
If any doubt regarding acid resistance of the surface, it is always recommendable to test the product on a less visible area or spot.
How to use
Dissolve Alfix Acid Wash in water in the proportion 1:6 – 1:20 depending on nature and degree of dirt.
Pre-wet the surface with plenty of clean water.
Apply the solution to the surface, working in smaller sections. Use a coarse pad to scrub the surface while applying.
After a working time of 5- 10 minutes, re-scrub the surface and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
For slightly absorbent tiles, allow min. 24 – 48 hours upon grouting before removal of cement film.
Quarry tiles, terracotta, and other absorbent surfaces should not be acid-washed until the grout has properly set and gained enough strength to withstand washing.
