For grouting with joint width under 5 mm Alfix FineFuge - Cerafill 5 or Alfix UniversalFuge - CeraFill 10 colour is recommended.
Underfloor heating, ventilation, waste heat recovery systems, dehumidifiers, etc should be switched off during tiling. Deactivate all installations 72 hours prior to grouting and reactivate 14 days after completion of work at the earliest. Underfloor heating temperature increase should be by 5°C per 24 hours until preferred surface temperature is obtained.
Inlet temperature should be max. +35°C

How to use
Usually, grouting can be made 48 hours after completion of fixing. Add 0.20 litres of clean water per kg powder. Pour the water into a clean container and add the powder while stirring thoroughly with mixing drill until a lump-free and smooth grout is obtained. Allow the mixture to rest for a few minutes before use.
Apply Alfix RustiqFuge - CeraFill 20 to the surface with a soft rubber squeegee while working diagonally over the joints ensuring that they are completely filled. Remove excess grout immediately while working.
When the grout begins to set, after approx. 15 – 50 minutes, start to slurry off the area using wet sponge frequently rinsed in clean water. Wipe over tiles in broad sweeps until joints appear even and filled. Finally, clean off and finish tiles and joints with only slightly damp sponge.
Any remaining grout film on the surface can be removed after 12 – 24 hours using an acid cleaner, e.g. Alfix Acid Wash.
NB!
Switch off any underfloor heating.
Note that the temperature of mixing water will influence setting time.
Protect the joints from heat, draught, and other climatic conditions which will cause premature drying. To prevent premature drying, dampen joints for approx. 24 hours in order to obtain complete hardening.
Do not cover areas just grouted with plastic foil or sheets. Avoid any significant changes in temperature or humidity during hardening process.
Variations in drying conditions as well as heavy use of water when cleaning off may affect the cement and cause visible deviations in joint colour.
Cleaning
Grout residues on tiles and tools should be removed with water before the mix begins to set. Cement-based products harden when mixed with water, hence do not pour surplus adhesive into the drain system.
